If you are getting your keys at Canopy Towers this month, we make zebra shades, roller blinds and Shangri-La shades to fit a condo window. Choose the material and operation, then price each opening from its measurements. We make orders in Richmond Hill and dispatch within three working days of confirmation, with transit on top. Installation can be booked for several windows together.
What is Canopy Towers and are people moving in?
Canopy Towers is a development being built by Liberty Development on Hurontario Street in Mississauga. Phase 1 includes Building A, a 34-storey tower with 503 units. People are moving in now, and construction preparations for the Phase 2 below-grade garage had begun.
Can I see the materials before choosing my blinds?
You can order free material samples from our website before buying. A colour on a screen is a poor guide to how fabric will look in your room. Put the samples beside the window and compare them with the finishes around it. Keep the material number with your choice so you can select it when ordering.
We make Shangri-La shades in materials 33 and 35. They have soft fabric vanes held between two sheer layers. The chain tilts the vanes open or closed, then rolls the shade up. They have their own size-based pricing on the website and can be ordered online. Material 35 is room-darkening.
Should I check with condo management before ordering blinds?
Ask the management office about window coverings before choosing a colour. Many buildings set a rule about how windows look from outside. Find out what you need to follow before settling on a material or confirming your order.
Custom shades are final sale once the order is confirmed. That does not apply to a shade that arrives faulty, damaged or different from what was ordered. Take time with the samples and your measurements before confirming. There is no minimum shade order, so you can order one shade if that is all you need.
Can neighbours book installation together?
Flats in one building can repeat, so several neighbours may be ready to arrange window coverings together. One visit can cover more than one home. Each window still needs its own measurements, even when openings look alike. Measure every window you plan to cover rather than copying a neighbour’s dimensions.
Homes that book together are counted as one order for installation pricing. At seven or more windows, installation is 20% off. Ask neighbours about booking together before arranging separate visits. You can each choose the shade type and material you want for your own home.
Should I choose a roller blind instead of a zebra shade?
A roller blind is one plain panel of fabric with no bands. A chain-operated roller blind at 24 by 72 inches is $139.20. A chain-operated zebra shade at 24 by 72 inches is $199.80. Choose the roller blind when you want a plain fabric panel or want the lower shade price at that size. Roller materials are 20, 21, 22 and 31.
A zebra shade alternates sheer and solid bands on one roller. Line the bands up for privacy or offset them for filtered light. That gives you a different way to adjust a condo window covering without rolling it all the way up. Room-darkening zebra materials are 1, 2, 5, 9, 13 and 30. Compare samples before choosing the material you want to live with.
How much do made-to-measure condo blinds cost?
These chain-operated zebra shade prices use common window sizes. A 24 by 72 inches narrow full-height pane is $199.80. A 30 by 60 inches bedroom window is $206.00. A 60 by 80 inches balcony door is $464.33. A 60 by 84 inches wide living room window is $485.00. All four together come to $1,355.13. Every shade is priced from the measurements of its own window. These prices are before tax, with shipping in Canada included. GST or HST is charged by delivery province.
IllustrationA motorized zebra shade at 60 by 84 inches is $600.00. Any shade can be motorized for $115.00 more. The remote is $50.00 extra, and one remote runs up to 15 shades. A motorized shade has no chain. Chain-operated shades have a shrouded continuous-loop chain anchored to the wall with a tension device. You choose which side it hangs on, and our workshop sets the drop. Widths of 94 inches and over travel by courier in their own carton, with an $85 charge once per order.
Will you come and install my blinds?
Canopy Towers is roughly 35 km from our workshop in a straight line. We install within 75 km of Elgin Mills and Yonge in Richmond Hill. Installation is $100 per window, with a minimum of three windows for a visit. At seven or more windows, installation is 20% off. Neighbours in one building who book together count as one order.

We make shades to order in Richmond Hill and dispatch within three working days of a confirmed order. Transit is additional, so that dispatch time is separate from arrival or an installation appointment. The mechanical parts of a shade our own team installs have lifetime cover. That covers the roller, chain, brackets and motor. Fabric is not covered.

Where the facts come from. What this page says about Canopy Towers comes from storeys.com, which we read on 6 October 2026. ShadeForge makes and fits window shades. We are an independent business with no connection with Liberty Development or with Canopy Towers, and the photographs on this page are of other homes we have fitted. The picture marked Illustration was made by computer to show the kind of window: it is not a picture of Canopy Towers, and not a photograph of our work.
