Every shade is cut to one window and cannot be resold, so orders are final once you confirm them. This page explains exactly what that means, and the three situations where we still put it right at our cost.
Before you confirm
Nothing is locked in until you confirm the order. Up to that point you can change sizes, fabrics or quantities, or walk away entirely.
If you want a person to look over your measurements first, tick “Ring me before anything is cut” at checkout. We will hold the order, call you, and only start production once you are happy. There is no charge for this and it is the cheapest way to avoid a mistake.
After you confirm
Confirmed orders cannot be returned, exchanged or cancelled for change of mind. Your shade is cut to your measurements and your fabric choice the moment production starts, and it will not fit anyone else’s window.
Where we still put it right
- We made it wrong. If the shade does not match the specification you confirmed, we remake it at our cost. Always.
- It arrived faulty or damaged. Defects in materials or workmanship, and transit damage, are covered by our manufacturing warranty. Tell us within a reasonable time of delivery and we will repair or replace it.
- You measured wrong. Our remake guarantee covers one blind per customer, once, on a website order of three shades or more. Tell us the corrected size and we build the replacement at no charge. Nothing on this page takes away the rights you have under Ontario consumer law, including your rights in respect of goods that are defective or not as described. Where this policy and those rights disagree, those rights win.
Minimum order
There is none. One shade is a valid order, in any size and material. Orders of three shades or more also carry the remake guarantee above.
Lead time and delivery
Three days from confirmed order to dispatch. We build your shades and hand them to the carrier within three days; transit time on top of that depends on where in Canada you are. If we are ever going to miss that, we will contact you rather than let you wonder.
