Bravo Vaughan blinds planned before your closing date

Bravo is under construction in Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. With a closing date ahead, you can choose materials and work out a budget before the keys arrive. Ordering needs measurements from the finished window frames. We make shades in Richmond Hill and dispatch within three working days of a confirmed order, with transit on top. Bravo is within our installation area.

What is Bravo and how far along is it?

Bravo is a tower development in Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, Vaughan, being built by Menkes and QuadReal. It is under construction. The east tower has begun to rise, and the first two towers are most of the way sold.

Should I ask the management office before choosing blinds?

Ask the management office about window coverings before choosing a colour. Many buildings set a rule about how the windows look from outside. Get that answer before settling on a material.

Keep the answer with your material choices. If you are comparing samples, use the building’s requirements to guide that choice before placing an order.

Can I see the shade material before buying?

We offer free material samples through our website. A colour on a screen is a poor guide to how fabric will look in a room. Look at the actual material before choosing, and see it in the room when you have access. Our materials are identified by number, so keep the number with your choice.

We make zebra shades, roller blinds and Shangri-La shades. Shangri-La shades have soft fabric vanes held between two sheer layers. The chain tilts the vanes open or closed, then rolls the shade up. Materials 33 and 35 are available in this style and are priced by size on their own line on the website.

When can a condo window first be measured?

A floor plan gives you the room layout. The finished window frame provides the measurements needed to cut a shade to the nearest 1/8 of an inch. Wait until the frame is finished and accessible. Decide on mounting before measuring. An inside mount sits within the opening and needs at least 2 inches of flat depth for the cassette. With less depth, choose an outside mount. It fixes to the wall above the opening and overlaps it. Add at least 2 inches each side and 2 to 3 inches above for an outside mount.

Measuring width: take the width of the window opening at the top, the middle and the bottom, then order the narrowest of the three. 1 2 3 Top Middle Bottom Measure all three. Order the NARROWEST width
Three width measurements. The narrowest one is the one that matters. It is the only width guaranteed to clear the frame.

Measure width first, then height, always to the nearest 1/8 of an inch. For an inside mount, measure the opening at the top, middle and bottom. Use the narrowest width. Measure from the top of the opening to the sill at the left, middle and right. Use the longest height. Give us the exact opening measurements without subtracting anything. We make the deduction ourselves. Measure every window in one pass with the same tape.

Would a roller blind be a better choice than a zebra shade?

A roller blind is one plain panel of fabric with no bands. A chain-operated roller blind at 30 by 72 inches is $165.75 before tax. A chain-operated zebra shade at 30 by 72 inches is $237.00 before tax. The roller blind is the better choice when you want a plain layer of fabric and the lower price at that size.

Zebra shades alternate sheer and solid bands on one roller. Line the bands up for privacy or offset them for filtered light. Our chain-operated shades use a continuous-loop chain, sold shrouded and anchored to the wall with a tension device. You choose which side the chain hangs on. Our workshop sets its drop length.

What should I budget for made-to-measure shades?

These are common window examples. Every shade is priced from the measurements of the window it is for. For chain-operated zebra shades, a tall bedroom window at 30 by 72 inches is $237.00; a floor to ceiling pane at 36 by 84 inches is $311.40; a living room window at 48 by 72 inches is $348.60; and a wide floor to ceiling pane at 42 by 84 inches is $354.80. All four together come to $1,251.80. These prices include shipping in Canada and are before tax. GST or HST is charged by delivery province.

Any shade can be motorized for $115.00 more. One remote costs $50.00 and runs up to 15 shades. A motorized shade has no chain. There is no minimum order, so one shade is fine. Custom shades are final sale once the order is confirmed. That does not apply to a shade that arrives faulty, damaged or different from what was ordered.

Does ShadeForge install blinds in Vaughan at Bravo?

Bravo is roughly 15 km from our Richmond Hill workshop in a straight line. It is inside our installation area, which extends 75 km from Elgin Mills and Yonge in Richmond Hill. Installation costs $100 per window, with a minimum of three. At seven or more windows, installation is 20% off. Homes that book together, including neighbours in one building or on one street, count as one order for that rate.

When our own team installs a shade, its mechanical parts have lifetime warranty cover. That covers the roller, chain, brackets and motor. Fabric is excluded.

Where the facts come from. What this page says about Bravo comes from renx.ca, which we read on 20 September 2026. ShadeForge makes and fits window shades. We are an independent business with no connection with Menkes and QuadReal or with Bravo, and the photographs on this page are of other homes we have fitted. The picture marked Illustration was made by computer to show the kind of window: it is not a picture of Bravo, and not a photograph of our work.
