A purchaser shade package needs a window schedule, settled choices and a clear handover plan. Group identical windows, then confirm the measurements for every opening during one measure visit. Arrange the order around one delivery or collection and one installation. We make shades in Richmond Hill. Website orders and trade orders have different collection and dispatch arrangements.
Can identical windows use the same shade specification?
Identical windows let you repeat the shade type, material and control choice in your purchaser package. Each shade still needs the measurements of the opening it is for. We make shades from 9 to 109 inches wide and up to 130 inches high, to the eighth of an inch.

Before the measure visit, settle which windows the upgrade includes. Give each opening a reference on your window schedule. Keep that reference with its measurements and purchaser selections through ordering and installation. If purchasers can choose different materials or controls, record those choices against the individual openings.
Plan the measure visit around the complete package. Have the window schedule ready so every included opening can be checked during that visit. Repeated openings can share a specification, but confirm their measurements before using the same dimensions throughout an order.
What shade and control choices should purchasers get?
Keep the choices clear on the specification sheet. Zebra shades alternate sheer and solid bands on one roller. Line the bands up for privacy or offset them for filtered light. A roller blind has one panel of fabric with no bands. Shangri-La shades have soft fabric vanes held between two sheer layers. The chain tilts the vanes open or closed and then rolls the shade up.

Use the workshop material numbers when recording selections. Shangri-La shades come in materials 33 and 35 and have their own size-based pricing online. You can order free material samples on the website before choosing what to include in the package. Keep the selected material number beside each window reference.
Chain-operated shades have a continuous loop chain, sold shrouded and anchored to the wall with a tension device. You choose which side the chain hangs on, and we set the drop length. Any shade can be motorized for $115.00 more. A motorized shade has no chain. One remote costs $50.00 and runs up to 15 shades.
What prices can go into an upgrade budget?
Our chain-operated zebra shade examples are 36 by 60 inches at $237.00, 48 by 48 inches at $249.40, 48 by 60 inches at $299.00, and 72 by 60 inches at $423.00. These prices are before tax and include shipping in Canada. The sizes are examples of common windows. Every shade is priced from the measurements of the window it is for.

For a roller blind, 36 by 60 inches is $165.75 before tax, with shipping in Canada included. Use these examples when discussing the package with purchasers, then price the actual openings with their selected shade type and material. GST or HST is charged by delivery province.
Designers, decorators, builders, property managers and dealers can apply for a trade account on the website. A person approves each application. Approved accounts buy at a trade price by the square foot, visible once signed in. Use that account pricing when preparing your trade order. There is no minimum order, so you can order one shade.
How do we plan one delivery or collection?
Choose the purchasing route before setting the handover arrangements. Website orders are made to order in Richmond Hill and dispatched within three working days of a confirmed order. Transit is on top. Widths of 94 inches and over travel by courier in their own carton, with a charge of $85 once per order.
Trade orders are collected from our workshop, ready 3 to 5 business days after confirmation. We do not ship trade orders. If your upgrade package includes delivery to the property, arrange that step after collection. Trade accounts pay by Interac e-Transfer or in cash when collecting. Website payment is by Interac e-Transfer.
Check the full window schedule and purchaser selections before confirming. Custom shades are final sale once the order is confirmed. That does not apply to a shade that arrives faulty, damaged or different from what was ordered. The website remake guarantee does not apply to trade accounts.
Can the whole package be installed together?
We install within 75 km of Elgin Mills and Yonge in Richmond Hill. Installation is $100 per window, with a minimum of three. For a package planned around one installation, settle the included windows and control choices before booking. Keep the window references available so each shade can be matched to its opening.
Put installation in the purchaser package as a clear part of the scope. Record who is arranging it and which windows are included. Coordinate the delivery or collection with that work so the shades are at the property for installation.
The mechanical parts have 1 year of free warranty coverage, currently upgraded free to 3 years. The covered parts are the roller, chain, brackets and motor. Mechanical parts have lifetime coverage when our own team installs the shade. Fabric is excluded from all of these warranties.
