What does Material 3 look like on a window?
Material 3 has alternating sheer and solid bands on one roller. The bands form stripes across the window. Line the bands up for privacy, or offset them for filtered light. You change their position with the chain.
The continuous loop chain is sold shrouded and anchored to the wall with a tension device. You choose which side it hangs on. We set the drop length at the workshop. Think about which side you can reach when you use the window, especially if furniture sits nearby.
What does a Material 3 zebra shade cost?
A bathroom window measuring 24 by 36 inches is $125.40. For a bedroom window, 30 by 48 inches costs $175.00. The price for 36 by 48 inches is $199.80. At 36 by 60 inches, a bedroom shade comes to $237.00. These prices are for chain-operated zebra shades, before tax, with shipping in Canada included. GST or HST is charged by delivery province. These are examples of common windows, rather than measurements from a particular home. We price each shade from the window it is for.
Any shade can be motorized for $115.00 more. A motorized shade has no chain. One remote costs $50.00 and runs up to 15 shades.
What measurements and timing should I plan for?
We make shades from 9 to 109 inches wide and up to 130 inches high, to the eighth of an inch. Widths of 94 inches and over travel by courier in their own carton, with an $85 charge once per order. There is no minimum order. One shade is fine.
We dispatch within three working days of a confirmed order. Transit time is on top. Custom shades are final sale once the order is confirmed. That does not apply to a shade that arrives faulty, damaged or different from what you ordered. Our workshop is an assembly shop, so plan to choose your material through a sample rather than a showroom visit.
