The product

A zebra shade (also called a sheer shade or dual shade): alternating bands of sheer and solid fabric on one roller. Line the solid bands up for privacy, offset them for filtered daylight. A roller blind is one panel of fabric on the same kind of roller, with no bands. Every shade is cut to one window, assembled and inspected in our own workshop before it is boxed.

Wide shades	On a website order, shades 94 inches and wider travel by courier rather than post: $85 once per order, however many. Trade orders are collected, so it does not apply to them.

Standard	A continuous-loop chain, supplied with a chain guard and a tension device that fastens to the wall. The side the chain hangs on is chosen at order time, left or right. The workshop sets its drop to suit the window.
Motorized	Any shade can be motorized. A motorized shade has no chain. One remote control runs up to fifteen motorized shades.

Minimum order	None. One shade is a valid order.
Lead time	Website orders: three days from a confirmed order to dispatch; transit is on top. Trade orders: ready to collect 3 to 5 business days after the order is confirmed.
Delivery	Website orders ship free anywhere in Canada; the courier charge above applies to wide shades. Trade orders are not shipped: they are collected from the workshop at 604 Edward Avenue Unit 15, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 9Y7.
Payment	Trade orders: Interac e-Transfer, or cash when the order is collected.
Installation	Within 75 km of Richmond Hill: $100 a window, minimum three, 20% off at seven or more.
Returns	Each shade is cut to one window, so an order is final once confirmed. Faulty, damaged or not-as-ordered shades are always covered.
Remake guarantee	A retail offer for customers ordering on the website, on orders of 3 shades or more. It does not apply to trade accounts.
Warranty	The mechanical parts, the roller, chain, brackets and motor, are covered for 3 years, and for life on a shade our own team installs. The fabric itself is not covered. Every order is covered against defects in materials and workmanship.
